Austin Fry is a Wilbert Fellow providing support for commercial real estate and manufacturing clients such as Atlantic Station, Alpharetta City Center, Fenton and ZVerse. Austin has always been passionate about vibrant storytelling, establishing deep connections, and crafting inspiring experiences so he has a special interest in our video, digital, and activation services. Some of his main takeaways from the fellowship include the possibilities of using multiple avenues to holistically tell a client’s story, as well as the benefits of a servant leadership culture in an agency setting.
Austin received his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Georgia in May 2020. During his collegiate career, he practiced leadership as a Leonard Leadership Scholar, helped provide leadership to two faith-based student organizations, started his own business, was given the Inspiration Award as a Resident Assistant, and hosted the Terry School of Business’ Student Podcast. Prior to beginning the fellowship in July, Austin was a Marketing and Events intern with Plywood People, a non-profit in Atlanta leading a community of startups doing good. There, he helped to craft ATL IDEAS, an original conference designed to inspire and connect over 850 local, creative professionals in Atlanta and developed and executed content strategies to assist in the event’s social media campaigns.
Austin was recently selected as a fellow for the Atlanta Resource Foundation, an organization which seeks to discover, encourage, network, and empower natives of Atlanta. In his free time, you can find Austin planning social gatherings (currently on hold due to COVID-19), running the sound board at a local church, playing some ultimate frisbee, or hiking somewhere in the woods.
