The first quarter of 2025 has been filled with exciting client news and standout media coverage. We’ve kept the momentum going by strategically sharing our clients’ stories with the audiences that matter most—while also finding fresh, creative ways to spotlight their work and accomplishments.

Here’s a look at just a few of the media highlights our team secured in Q1 2025:

  1. Ryan Companies recently named Domingos Garcia regional director of architecture for its Southeast region, overseeing projects at the company’s offices in Atlanta and Tampa, Florida, as told by CoStar.
  2. Portman recently announced the opening of Yuji, an innovative, Japanese-modern restaurant by Kinjo Enterprise, LLC, at Junction Krog District. Wilbert helped share the story with Atlanta media, landing a story in Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
  3. Churchill Mortgage expert Jordan Leaman recently gave his take to CBS News about how the mortgage interest tax deduction works.
  4. Wilbert secured this U.S. News and World Report story on tapping into home equity for improvement projects, for Georgia's Own Credit Union. It features commentary from Aaron Craig, VP of mortgage and indirect sales, who was quoted five times throughout the story.
  5. The Interlock had a busy first quarter with the announcement of three new office leases, racing simulation experience F1 Arcade and rooftop tenant The Gathering Spot. Wilbert helped tell these stories, as shown through Urbanize Atlanta.
  6. Brian White, beverage director at The Office Bar located in the lobby of 1105 West Peachtree, spoke with Forbes about his favorite scotch whiskies as part of a larger story on bartenders’ preferences.
  7. Wilbert secured a story in Construction Executive highlighting McCarthy's partnership with Kits4Kids in honor of MLK day. McCarthy teamed up with local first responders to assemble relief kits designed to support children experiencing emotional trauma during emergency calls.
  8. Wilbert secured an interview for CBL Properties CEO Stephen Lebovitz with CNN on the evolution of the mall and how a variety of uses, including multifamily, are finding success in shopping malls across the country, which led to inclusion in this story.
  9. Wilbert recently helped tell the story of an architecture firm that has stayed in downtown Atlanta for more than a century, due to its unmatched character, classic designs and historic status. Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on the firm’s history and lease extension, which was brokered by JLL.
  10. Wilbert secured this story with WREX for the latest Boys & Girls Club teen center refresh performed by Aaron's, which gave teens in Rockford, Illinois a $20,000 budget to design a new safe space for teens in the community. This was the 67th refresh delivered by Aaron's since the start of its partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America in 2015.
  11. Wilbert arranged an interview with Engel & Völkers Atlanta CEO Christa Huffstickler and Atlanta Business Chronicle to discuss how Atlanta's luxury home market is likely to “see more momentum” in the future.
  12. Sarah Pickard of Wilbert client, Pickard Design Studio, loves all things vintage! Wilbert helped share her passion with Southern Living in a story on what vintage prints are making a comeback.
  13. Wilbert worked with Walmart to coordinate the donation of over 300 game-day meal bundles to more than 100 fire stations across Georgia. Wilbert secured 55 digital and broadcast hits, with coverage on every TV network in all three major media markets. This includes a feature in local Atlanta station WSBTV
  14. MDH Partners recently entered the Las Vegas industrial market with the purchase of Sunrise Industrial Park One and Two, totaling more than 509,000 square feet, as told by Commercial Property Executive.
  15. After High Street announced the opening of Cuddlefish, an Atlanta-based sushi restaurant renowned for its signature handrolls, Wilbert helped secure a story with Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
  16. Toro Development recently celebrated breaking ground on Medley, the 43-acre mixed-use community in the Johns Creek Town Center. Medley marks one of the only mixed-use projects of such complexity and scale to break ground nationally this year, as told by Urbanize Atlanta.
  17. Wilbert secured a bylined article opportunity in Urban Land Magazine on behalf of Cooper Carry's Charlotte mixed-use project, The Bowl at Ballantyne.
  18. Trademark Property Company closed on the property and financing for Westbend Residences, a 321-unit multifamily complex with 4,500 square feet of retail in Fort Worth, Texas. Wilbert secured an interview with the Dallas Business Journal, which led to a story.
  19. Wilbert secured local media coverage, including a story with WHNT, in Decatur, Alabama, for Hoar Construction's groundbreaking of a new community recreation center. The 20-acre center will feature a 103,000-square-foot, enclosed recreation building, baseball fields and walking trails.
  20. Birmingham-based program management firm HPM recently celebrated the topping out of Azalea Hall, a new five-story residence hall and multipurpose building on Mississippi State University's campus. School Construction News covered the topping out of this project.
  21. Lakeshore in Gainesville is the latest suburban retail hub poised for a mixed-use makeover. Gainesville leaders recently approved the mall’s rezoning, allowing for demolition to begin next year. Wilbert secured 33 media hits about the rezoning, including in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
  22. Stonemont Financial Group wrapped on construction of a 296,000-square-foot speculative industrial facility in Passaic, New Jersey, part of the New York City metropolitan area. Wilbert helped tell this story, landing coverage in Real Estate NJ and several other regional publications.
