- City of Refuge, the Westside nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives through vocational training programs, healthcare, childcare and more, celebrated a major milestone with the announcement of its first freestanding multifamily building. North American Properties announced its plans to develop a nearly 60,000-square-foot apartment community to serve the residents and students engaged in the organization’s educational programs. Since the start of 2018, City or Refuge placed nearly 200 graduates of its various vocational training programs in jobs and expects to place over 400 graduates by the end of the year. - The team behind the soon-to-be tallest residential tower in Atlanta, No2 Opus Place, recently announced in the Atlanta Business Chronicle its plans to add commercial office space to the 53-story tower development. To meet the increasing demand for modern, creative workplaces along the Peachtree Street corridor, the ultra-luxe development is seeking approval for a larger scale mixed-use component with plans for Class A office space. No2 Opus Place, a Wilbert client, wrote over 30 contracts during the first half of 2018 with over 30 percent of the residential condos sold, surpassing its presale mark, and vertical construction will commence in early 2019.
- The latest element of Atlantic Station’s ongoing transformation will bring Atlanta’s first timber-built office stack, T3 West Midtown. The 230,000-square-foot creative office project will include loft office spaces, rooftop terraces, shared social spaces, and a state-of-the-art fitness facility.
