In 2015, Aaron’s, Inc. and Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) announced a 3-year, $5 million partnership to support BGCA’s Keystone initiative, a national teen leadership and character program. Aaron’s now sponsors the National Keystone Conference and is remodeling Keystone clubs in various cities across the nation. As a part of The Wilbert Group’s work as the agency of record for Aaron’s, we were tasked with raising awareness about the partnership.
Wilbert developed a media relations program, customized for each local market where a remodeling project takes place. This initiative so far has generated media hits in local publications, such as The Tennessean, the San Antonio Express and the Atlanta Business Chronicle. The makeovers have been covered by local broadcast outlets in every market.
